1. Open Start Menu, Settings, CONTROL PANEL 2. Double click on ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS 3. Then double click on SERVICES 4. Look down the list of services until you see the service MESSENGER and double click on it. 5. A new window comes up - change the startup type to Disable 6. Underneath the service status click on the stop button Thats it!
